Pricing · One-time + ongoing

Clear range. Custom scope. Flat rate.

Typical ongoing engagements are $1,500–$10,000 per month. We define the work during discovery, agree on a flat-rate retainer, and adjust it together if the scope changes. One-time projects are quoted separately.

01 / Find your shape

One question first.

The finder runs in your browser — no email, nothing tracked. It tells you which engagement fits, and it tells you when the honest answer is “don’t hire us yet.”

Where are you, honestly?

Pick the line that sounds most like you. You get the straight recommendation on the spot — including “don’t hire us yet” when that’s the truth.

Your answer appears here. No form, no follow-up sequence — this widget runs in your browser and forgets you the moment you leave.

The picker needs JavaScript, but the answers don’t. The short version:

  • The Audit — fixed scope, five business days. Start here if you know what you want automated, or if you inherited an AI mess and need a diagnosis before anyone sells you a rebuild.
  • Consulting — a written plan you can execute with us or anyone else. Nothing built, nothing sold with it.
  • Managed delivery — we build and run the agreed digital scope under a flat-rate monthly retainer.
  • Just exploring? Don’t hire us yet. Run the free Fit Check (eight questions, no email) and read Field Notes first.

A range gives you context. Discovery gives us the real scope. The proposal turns both into one flat rate.

03 / What moves the number

Six things that move the number.

When you get your number, this is what’s behind it. Every one of these gets scored in the audit.

01

Integrations

How many tools the system touches. Two tools is one build; nine tools is another. Each connection is real work — mapping, auth, failure handling.

02

Data cleanliness

If the customer list lives in three spreadsheets that disagree, we fix that before anything gets automated. Clean data is cheap to run. Dirty data isn’t.

03

Approval sensitivity

How much has to wait for a human. Money, legal, and customer-facing sends get approval gates — more gates, more build, more operating care.

04

Volume

Fifty invoices a month and five hundred are different systems wearing the same name. Volume drives runtime, monitoring, and exception handling.

05

Tool sprawl

Six tools doing three jobs means seams, and every seam is work. Sometimes the cheapest move is retiring a tool before automating around it.

06

Compliance

Some work needs tighter logging, retention, and access rules. That’s build time and operating discipline, not markup.

None of these are secrets. Ask on the call and we’ll show you how each one moved your number.

04 / The parts people hide in fine print

Terms, not marketing.

What does Ridgeway typically cost?

Typical ongoing engagements range from $1,500 to $10,000 per month. The exact rate depends on the systems involved, volume, complexity, support needs, and the breadth of the digital scope.

After discovery, you receive one flat monthly rate for the agreed scope. One-time work is quoted separately.

What do I actually leave the first call with?

The right engagement shape, a first-pass scope, and realistic pricing direction. The final flat rate follows discovery, once both sides understand the work.

How is the monthly retainer set?

We define the responsibilities, systems, deliverables, operating cadence, and support expectations during discovery, then agree on one flat monthly rate.

If the scope materially expands or contracts later, we adjust the agreement together before the change takes effect.

How are one-time projects priced?

Defined projects such as website builds, website edits, migrations, integrations, dashboards, and focused software work are quoted separately based on the agreed deliverable and timeline.

What are the engagement terms?

Contracting runs on a three-month minimum, then month-to-month with 30 days’ notice and no early-termination fee. Support cadence and response expectations live in your SOW — written down where they’re enforceable, not on a marketing page.

Who pays for the AI vendors?

That is defined in the engagement. Ridgeway can manage commercial provider projects and include expected operating costs in the flat rate, or work within approved client-owned accounts when the requirements call for it.
